About

For 13 years, Amber was a professional actor in New York and Los Angeles. But while she was acting, she held every kind of job from teaching at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts to “witnessing the whirl” at Jamba Juice.

Growing tired of waiting for auditions, she switched careers completely and is now an in-house copywriter, freelance marketer, and regular contributor to MTV, Thrillist, IFC, Bustle, Greatist, Healthline, Parade, and more.

Basically, she’s really good at finding jobs and leveraging the many skills of the acting world into the regular working world.

All of her writing/marketing work started after 30. If you’re not 21 and starting a new side career, you’re not weird. It’s normal and you can start something new at any age. Amber can help you do it.
