Want to alleviate your writing anxiety and get more done in 2 hours than you’d normally get done in a week?
Hello, I use to hate promoting myself. Now I have a 11,000 email subscribers.
Also, my name is Amber Petty and I’m a writer for the New York Times, Thrillist, Greatist, Bustle, MTV, IFC, and a bunch more (including Snooki’s blog, are you jealous?).
In the last 4 years, I’ve taught over 1000 students and helped hundreds of people get bylines and build their audience. Clients have been seen on CNN, Fox New Seattle, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, Business Insider, Huffington Post and tons more.
Plus, many started their own creative businesses, now successfully selling newsletters, Patreon tiers, coaching, journals, and even books about frozen bubble art.
Before I got any of this, I was a low level actress, a failed vocal coach, and person who started 3 newsletters and stopped because “who’d want to hear from me.”
I know what it’s like to hate promoting yourself and sharing your work. I’ve performed to an audience of 1 because I thought asking people to come to my show would be “too much of a bother.”
But, I found out that promoting your work is not the same as poking someone in the eye and asking for their first born (how it felt to me back in the actress days). In fact, it’s just doing more of the creative work I already love to do.
In this workshop, you’ll get the reframes and tools I used to get over my fear of rejection and visibility. And find out how to promo your work in a way that feels fun and free, not sleazy and gross.
“This writing workshop helped me so much! I was able to get over my roadblocks. I had so many story ideas and found many outlets that I could possibly pitch to simply because I was encouraged by Amber to think differently about writing and the time I had for it.”
- Jaclyn Roessel

I’m not a professional writer, is this for me?
Yes! As long as you want to write or have a project you want more eyes on, you’re welcome to come.
I am a professional writer, is this for me?
If you have no fear of being seen, rejection, or promoting your work - congrats! And don’t come to this. But if you’re an amazing writer that find promoting your work or being seen a nightmare, this class will change your mind.
